Many always ask me how they can support our ministry! One of the ways you can support us is through prayer. Here is an email that was recently sent to me concerning an event I am speaking at this weekend.

“Good morning, Trey. I am Jim’s secretary. I printed your message and gave it to him. He asked me to email you back and let you know what has taken place in the last couple of weeks here in the County.  Saturday a week ago, a high school senior from our local high school named Eleck was in a car accident and was killed.  He was a strong Christian and had a very deep impact on many lives.  He attended Grace Community Church, which is part of our Association.  The funeral was overflowing and another church was used for live-streaming of the funeral for those who could not get into Grace Community.    As a result of Eleck’s passing, many young people have been seeking for answers and many have also come to know Jesus as their Savior.  There seems to be a real moving of the Holy Spirit in this area right now and we are excited to see what God is going to do.  Of course, we are hoping for a huge response to the Youth Revival and believe that the time is good for some amazing things to take place.”

This was sent to me by the Director of Missions in the area. Please partner with us in prayer this weekend as I preach at this event. I believe that God works through tragedy and is already moving in this situation. It’s amazing to me how the gospel has already been preached through this kid’s life and passing before I have even arrived. Pray for Eleck’s family as they continue to heal. Pray that God would use me and that I would be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading. Pray that many would repent and trust Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Pray overall that God would be magnified and that His word would not return void!
